2025/26 priorities and operational planning guidance

NHS England has now published the 2025-26 operational and planning guidance, alongside its capital guidance.
- Implications for radiotherapy – 62 days cancer waiting time performance continues to be a priority, with a target of 75% by March 2026
- ICSs to continue to be responsible for the capital replacement programmes for linacs (planning and funding them from within capital allocations), except for the recently announced £70m national ‘pot’ which is being managed by NHS England
