Patient information videos
Findings from the radiotherapy patient experience survey 2023 indicated that patients wanted better information on websites, and more information about side effects and the late effects of radiotherapy treatment.
We secured funding from NHS England to undertake a project aiming to improve the digital information available to patients having breast radiotherapy treatment.
As part of this project, we sought further patient feedback via an on-line survey to understand more about patients’ preferences for digital information about breast radiotherapy. We then used this insight to work with breast radiotherapy colleagues across our 6 hospital sides, to produce a suite of short videos for patients and their families to access.
