The Network Oversight Group (NOG) is the formally constituted governing board of the West Midlands Radiotherapy Network. It provides strategic oversight and assurance for the delivery of the network’s agreed work programme across all radiotherapy provider trusts in the region. The NOG is accountable to NHS commissioners and ensures alignment with all Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) whose patients access radiotherapy services within the network.
Membership includes senior representatives from each radiotherapy provider trust, a clinical oncologist, therapeutic radiographer, heads of physics, patient advocates, and key members of the Radiotherapy Network team, including the Network Manager, Clinical Lead, and Business Support roles. The group meets regularly to review progress, address challenges, support quality improvement, adopt innovations, and ensure consistent, high‑quality radiotherapy services across the West Midlands.
