Clinical trial meeting involving radiotherapy services across the West Midlands, where representatives from different centres come together to discuss which clinical trials are taking place in each location, how these trials can be accessed, and how patients and healthcare professionals can become involved.
The West Midlands Radiotherapy Network is pleased to announce its upcoming showcase event on Friday 4 December 2026, taking place at The Studio in Birmingham city centre. The day will feature a programme of presentations, networking, and discussions, including a lung session from 9:15am to 12:45pm, followed by a networking lunch from 12:45pm to 1:30pm, and a prostate session from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Agenda topics are set to include key updates such as changes to the national ProKnow lung audit, lung SABR service provision and quality metrics, national and regional head and neck audit, and prostate SABR developments. Attendees are encouraged to contribute by showcasing examples of good practice or suggesting important topics for discussion.
